Ch. Tao Regency’s The One and Only, or “Nigel” as he is known around here was a beautiful orange red color with a black mask. While he was shown and one BISS along with his championship he really found dog shows to be beneath him and he really didn’t like Ky Oulay that much (that makes him the absolute first dog that enjoyed my company more than Ky’s but it also cut his show career short!)
He was sired by Carr’s Sir Ruben who was a litter brother to CH. Carr’s Top Brass, who was bred one time and produced one litter of three champions: Nigel and his two sisters, Tinkerbelle and Obsession, which are owned by Daisy Wilburn.

Tao Regency’s Mahogany was a “sleeve” pekingese in every sense of the word. She had her father’s, CH. Carr’s Top Brass, style and build and she got her personality from her aunt, CH. Tao Regency’s St. Claire, and she just had to at the front and center of everything!
We entered her in one dog show, in the under 8 lbs category, and she just walked in the ring observed the competition and decided, once on the table, to just roll over and have the judge rub her belly. She was not interested in the slightest in doing one thing like all the other dogs as she was no follower…
A picture of her daughter, who looked just like her and was the same size can be viewed here along with her pedigree: TAO REGENCY’S MAHOGANY

CH. Tao Regency’s The Crown Prince, or “Arthur” as we called him was quite a little guy! He was small, compact, and built like a literal tank! He was at all times the perfect gentleman and just loved to show and make people happy; he truly was a dog that never met a person he did not like! While small, he was built like an ox and loved to run and jump whenever given the chance. He was bred once and had three daughters, none of which were shown as their father was the last pekingese we finished.
He completed his championship with three five point majors and won the breed over the number #1 pekingese in the United States at the time! He went on to win numerous Group placements, including Group Ones.

Tao Regency’s Miss Wasabi, or “Ginger” as we call her is one of the most loving little pekes I have ever bred. She has only been bred twice; once, to CH. Carr’s Top Brass’ litter brother, Carr’s Sir Ruben, which produced three champions and then the second time to CH. Tao Regency’s Royal Singthong, which is a CH. Knolland Kristopher grandson. This second litter produced three girls and none of them were ever shown as we had quit going to dog shows before their birth. “Ginger” went to two shows and it was obvious that she did not have the personality for shows. You can view her pedigree and a picture here: TAO REGENCY’S MISS WASABI
