The Pekingese is a regal, dignified dog originally from China. We believe that a Pekingese should be small, compact, solidly built dog. A Pekingese must have a level topline, a pear shaped body, and an unhurried gait that is smooth and effortless while being free from bouncing, prancing, and or jarring.

While Pekingese are commonly known as a "head" breed or are marveled for their profuse coat we believe that the body and health of a Pekingese is the most critical: We are proud that all of our Pekingese can run, jump, and play just as much as any other breed!

The Shih Tzu is a lively proud dog, with an outgoing and affectionate disposition, originally from China. We believe that the Shih Tzu should be solid, compact, and carrying good weight and substance. The head, which should be held high at all times, should be broad and round with large expressive dark eyes. The body should be balanced in regards to neck, leg, and body length while the gait should be effortless and dignified.
